The project involves expanding the first floor of a house for a young couple. The project was developed in collaboration with the architect Carlo Salvagnin. The enlargement realization consists in the extrusion of the east wall on the first floor, thus conforming a raised volume resting on two reinforced concrete walls. The supporting structure consists of four macro-elements, floor decking and roof slab of light of 12 meters in reinforced concrete, the septum in adherence existing housing, first support slabs and east free septum, which is the second support. The structure is attributable to a bridge structure, the main front facing on to the North garden is completely glazed, with five movable mirrors for a free facade of 12 meters by 3 meters.
The extension defines the new living areas, fully free, dynamic, as opposed to the sleeping area where there are three bedrooms and three bathrooms. The project involves the complete revision of the interior technological systems because antiquated, and the installation of a photovoltaic system on the roof.
