Name: PADUA G-MMXV
Year: 2015
Client: private
Location: Due Carrare
Type: Industrial
The design consists in establishing an expansion of 1500 square meters for the construction of a deposit of raw materials in an existing industrial complex in the province of Padua. The project was developed in collaboration with the architect Carlo Salvagnin.
The body of the building consists of prefabricated reinforced concrete elements, in a single span, the roof is in beams with fenestration shed. The cover panels are also made of smooth concrete formwork.
The wall windows are in aluminum with thermal break, they are mainly focused on illuminating the access areas and aisles. The aim is to provide global illumination with shed roof, and the accumilation of goods along the walls undermines the brightening action of any windows. The sheds are facing east-north-east, ensuring a comprehensive indirect lighting from the mid morning.
